App management and security

While IT components such as on-premise APIs are under the control of your IT, connected cloud solutions look quite different. They are managed independently and can occasionally get out of control. TechHub EU mBaaS reduces this risk through an additional control instance for your apps. Apps connected to our mBaaS are protected from possible third-party access to cloud-based APIs or services.

Easily integrate PushTAN methods for identification and authentication into your banking apps. With the mBaaS service, highly secure authorisation of transactions is possible, as well as additional protection for access to your apps. PushTAN can be realised on the basis of transactions or SSO and integrated with standardised banking, e.g. via FinTS.

Micro-positioning and routing with beacons

As a licensed Apple iBeacon partner, we implement your apps so that they support beacon technology, enabling a wide variety of scenarios in retail and location-based contexts. From indoor positioning and routing for retail interactions to the delivery of store and convenience cards as well as access control and check-in/out services — every scenario is possible with our mBaaS platform.

Support of GPS tracking in logistics and all other scenarios where real-time information and tracking of people, goods, valuables, machines and animals matter. Our certified tracking modules guarantee global retrieval of the position and status of the tracked object, as well as direct communication with the tracking device.

Wallets and currencies

Passkit services enable the issuance and management of app-based wallet cards. The high security of wallet technology supports transactions such as the issuance of tickets, boarding passes, coupons, payment passes, debit and credit cards, as well as the storage of crypto currencies: our mBaaS server offers you a secure platform for interacting with your customers or clients and supports a wide range of scenarios in access control, transactions, retail incentives and payment. Our service is integrated with all leading payment providers and is suitable for Apple Pay. As a cross-platform service it is the ideal choice for smooth and secure integration of wallet services on iOS and Android.

Metrics in real time

TechHub mBaaS unifies and simplifies the way you capture and aggregate metrics in your apps. In combination with the client SDK, the service provides fine-grained capture of metrics from all app and back-end service events generated in connection with your apps. Capture engagement, retention or any other relevant data- or event-based metric. The service back end allows analysis in real time and over longer periods, so you can take into account every relevant aspect of your apps that matters to you and your customers — without tedious manual or semi-automatic collection of data from countless platforms. The service also offers easy integration with web analytics for detailed cross-channel insights.

App distribution, security and MAM

Our mBaaS platform secures the distribution of your apps across different platforms with additional control. If you currently publish an app without additional measures, it is beyond your control as soon as users install it. We give you the ability to retain full control over your applications even after installation. This is done via a registration against our mBaaS that happens in the background and provides your apps with an additional security barrier. Our mBaaS gives IT management control over your apps — from enterprise distribution to the end user or role-based service access.
