Structured process

In app life-cycle management, code is continuously tested and optimised for upcoming OS-vendor releases and changes in the integrated APIs. Application updates are delivered automatically. In addition, we offer app store management and OTA (over-the-air) distribution services.

UI/UX — User Interface Design, User Experience

The success of applications — whether aimed at end customers or employees — depends on a well-thought-out user experience and user interface concept with a matching design. The UI/UX concept must be intuitively comprehensible and deliver real added value: the user must feel at home in the app, understand the process steps and be able to operate them intuitively. Building Blocks for Mobile

For the efficient development of mobile business processes, TechHub EU offers back-end services and APIs tailored specifically to apps. Using ‘Building Blocks for Mobile’, complex mobile processes can be integrated and deployed faster. The back-end services belonging to the app building blocks are highly scalable and use industrial cloud and API standards.

In the Building Blocks for Mobile area we offer a wide range of ‘value-added services’ for apps and for communicating with app users. These building blocks consist of an app SDK and a back-end service with a management interface in which the service can be individually controlled and monitored.

Push notification services

TechHub EU push messaging lets you integrate push messaging for iOS, Android, BlackBerry and Windows into your apps. In the back-end dashboard, push campaigns can be configured and journeys scheduled. Messages can be sent individually to recipients, to recipient segments, event-based, or specific to device and app version. Campaigns can contain URLs that open either inside the app or externally on the device. The push SDK enables highly granular personalisation of notification logic. Benefits of push: higher retention rates by an average of 100%, and on average 26% more views per month. TechHub EU push service supports Apple, Android, BlackBerry, Windows and web apps.

App review campaign service

TechHub EU store campaign services allow in-app campaigns for app store reviews. In the back-end dashboard, review campaigns can be configured and published. The delivery of a review campaign can be scheduled not only in time but also in frequency. App users who have already participated in a campaign are automatically opted out of the running campaign. Review campaigns are a strong driver of better app store ratings, boosting an app’s rating with up to 80% more reviews.

GPS publishing and POI services

TechHub EU GPS publishing services enable the display of maps with precise location overlays for POIs or POS in your apps. The SDK offers clear map views and visualisations as well as routing and LBS searches. POIs or POS such as branch locations are imported via the back-end dashboard and can be published directly in map services such as Apple, Google, HERE, Microsoft Bing, OpenStreetMap and services like FourSquare. Usage metrics are also available in the dashboard. The API enables instant geocoding, search and LBS. POIs can also contain configurable data sets.

App analytics and metrics

TechHub EU app analytics and metrics services enable the collection and measurement of detailed metrics in any app. The SDK, available on all platforms, allows fine-grained definition of tracking data points or events. App and user metrics are transmitted in real time or synchronised for offline scenarios. In the back-end dashboard you can define detailed data points and events to be measured in your apps. All relevant metrics are visualised in clear, understandable graphs and analysed in the dashboard.

In-app purchase service

TechHub EU in-app purchase services enable easy integration of in-app purchases and asset management for your apps. The SDK, available for iOS and Android, allows the sale of digital goods within your apps and integration with your asset management in the cloud. In the dashboard you can manage all your digital assets and have full control over in-app purchase publications and processes. In-app purchase services also provide detailed metrics across all your apps, markets and assets in the back-end dashboard.

Wallet and Passbook services

TechHub EU wallet services enable the generation and distribution of secure wallet (and formerly Passbook) cards from your app and website. The SDK, available for iOS and Android, allows integration into your app. The wallet API ensures secure handling of payment processing and distribution of wallet items. In the back-end dashboard you can manage all your digital wallet items and have a complete overview of your payments and the wallet item distribution process. A wide variety of wallet item types is available, e.g. for ticketing, payment, boarding, events, access etc.

Messenger integration SDK

Facebook & Messenger integration: integrates booking and e-commerce processes with in-app Facebook and Messenger communication. Bookings and payment, process-specific messages and customer communication can thereby be integrated within the messenger channel of the respective provider. The entire booking process is presented to the customer in a single channel, reducing the complexity of mobile communication with the customer across multiple channels.

Authentication SSO SDK

Single sign-on & authentication: our SSO and authentication SDK enables fast and secure connection of apps to SSO infrastructure. This supports app scenarios where cross-platform use and security (including two-factor authentication) matter.

Code-protection SDK — app security at the highest level

The Tech Hub EU code-protection SDK offers app security at the highest level. In addition to obfuscation and encryption methods, our SDK provides further security measures to identify manipulation and attacks: control-flow obfuscation, resource encryption, string encryption, metadata removal, debugging detection, resource verification, jailbreak and rooting detection, programmed response, and ‘home’ reporting.

Native

Apps based on native technologies use the core functionality of the device and operating system. Especially in the areas of security, process speed and tooling, native application development is the right choice.

Hybrid

Hybrid applications are able to use device-native functions indirectly. Hybrid apps are particularly suitable for scenarios in which CMS applications are used in the back end for content and the delivery of media is required.

HTML5 / web

Purely web-based (HTML5) solutions may be an option for your scenario. HTML5 and responsive apps make sense when content and layouts need to be highly dynamic.
